The women have more than proven their worth in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, as we witnessed last Saturday night (Apr. 13) with Miesha Tate versus Cat Zingano. It was a back and forth brawl with Cat taking over the show in the final round. The brutal beatdown of Tate may have forced Ref. Kate Winslow to waive off the fight, but it was not enough to break the fighter spirit of Tate.

Quick to disagree, Miesha told media that she was never out and was unjustly stopped. The beating had majority of fans online in favor of the refs. decision of the stop . Following the fight a list of injuries and medical suspensions were given to Tate. Considering that, it looked to be the right call for her own safety.
