Some of you seemed unconvinced of Gegard Mousasi‘s prowess after reading yesterday’s post about him, which is understandable – delusional disorder can be very difficult to diagnose, so it’s safe to assume a fair cross section of the MMA fandom population could be suffering from that psychosis and no one would ever really know it.

Anyway, in advance of the former Strikeforce champ’s upcoming bout against Lyoto Machida at UFC Fight Night 36 on Saturday, the good folks at the UFC have released this video of Mousasi in action. The scene: UFC on Fuel TV 9, which took place on April 6, 2013 in Stockholm, Sweden. The opponent: Ilir Latifi, who was stepping in on four days notice for an injured Alexander Gustafsson. Mousasi dominated every round – and he went into the bout with an injured knee that later required surgery.

If, after this video, you still question Mousasi’s skills, well, the treatment of mental illness has come a long way since the days of full frontal lobotomies and electro-shock therapy. There’s probably a cure out there for you.
