The weigh-in event is in the books for tomorrow’s UFC Fight Night 77 in Brazil, with all of the fighters on the card hitting their respective marks.

The show is headlined by the third bout between MMA legends Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson.

Of the two, Henderson looked the stronger — which comes as no surprise to observers who remember Belfort’s gaunt appearance in his last UFC outing.

Belfort, a former UFC light heavyweight champion, was easily defeated by current middleweight titlist Chris Weidman back in May at UFC 187. The 38 year old Belfort had enjoyed a career resurgence in recent years — but controversies over performance enhancing agents have dogged him. Many question if can keep pace without the use of the now-banned testosterone replacement therapy which he has famously used in recent years. The one-sided loss to Weidman — Belfort’s first fight without use of the controversial treatment — did little to dissuade them.

Henderson, who was knocked out by Belfort in their last meeting back in November 2013, defeated Tim Boetsch in his last bout. That fight, which took place in May of this year, snapped a two fight losing streak for the 45 year old “Hendo.”
