In case you were one of the few (actually most) that missed last nights action – here’s what you missed out on in the co-main. Fabricio Werdum pulled off his second straight victory in the UFC, as he becomes the first man to put down the tough as nails, Mike Russow.
It was a right uppercut that dropped his opponent, leading to the swarming of hammerfists from the back that granted Werdum the win.
During his post fight interview, Werdum went on to say he is ready for a Junior dos Santos rematch. Shortly after however, Werdum admitted that he is likely another bout away from a shot, and will probably take a match on the upcoming JDS vs. Velasquez rematch.
