Every champ needs a challenger to threaten his reign, otherwise, no one cares when that champ fights. Such is the case with Demetrious Johnson, who’s beaten back all comers, and is now so far ahead of the rest of the division that his fights are practically foregone conclusions.
On Saturday, at UFC 215, Johnson will once again do the thing he does so well – win and make it look effortless. It doesn’t really matter that his opponent is Ray Borg. At this stage, anyone in the flyweight division would get (or already has gotten) snuffed out by champ. And of course, therein lies the problem. Because why watch a fight when you already know how it ends?
Anyway, here’s Dan Hardy and John Gooden breaking the fight down.
