At the end of the day, the only thing that matters when it comes to security over the Internet is whether your info is actually secure. That said, Jonathan Snowden over at Bleacher Report’s CagedIn blog reached out to the folks at the UFC for a response of the potential password issues UFC Fight Pass is alleged to have, and he got back a response to his query.

Said UFC exec Marshall Zelaznik when asked about the potential hole in the subscription service’s security protocols:

Having a secure product is always a top priority for us. The system we use for UFC Fight Pass is the same as, and we are always evaluating ways to ensure we continue to deliver a secure environment. When we see the need to update the service, we will, and the fact of the matter is we have been evaluating this as part of our normal course of business.

Although Zelaznik’s words ultimately don’t answer any questions about UFC Fight Pass being a fruit ripe for the picking by hungry hackers, hey, they sound good. Right?
