Piotr Hallman overcame some early adversity to take home his 10th straight win tonight at Ultimate Fight Night 28 in Brazil, as a Kimura lock earned the Polish middleweight a victory over Francisco Trinaldo.

Trinaldo scored repeatedly with kicks to the body in round one, scoring an early knockdown. The Brazilian then backed Hallman up with strikes, including a hard uppercut. A late takedown by Trinaldo punctuated the round.

But everything changed in the second stanza. Both scored takedowns and Trinaldo almost caught an knee bar in a scramble, but he slowed noticeably. Hallman took control, scoring elbows on the mat in Trinaldo’s half guard, and finally locked in a Kimura to take the victory home.

At UFC Ultimate Fight Night 28, Piotr Hallmann defeated Francisco Trinaldo by submission (Kimura) at 3:50 of round two.
