Lucas Martins made his debut at bantamweight one to remember, as he scored a first round victory in his home state in the fourth bout of Ultimate Fight Night 28 tonight in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

The former lightweight landed a hard right hand to drop Miletich product Ramiro Hernandez shortly after the opening bell, dropping the American to the mat. Martins would quickly maneuver to Hernandez’s back where he locked in a rear naked choke. At 1:10, referee Herb Dean saw Hernandez go limp and called a halt to the action.

Martins moves to 2-1 in his UFC career, and 14-1 overall.
