On the heels of a submission win over former UFC champion Josh Barnett, Ben Rothwell now finds himself sitting fifth in the latest UFC rankings.

Rothwell picked up his fourth consecutive victory when he locked up his patented gogo choke on Barnett. All four wins have been stoppages, as he also submitted Matt Mitrione and knocked out Alistair Overeem and Brandon Vera.

The win moved Rothwell ahead of former champion Junior dos Santos and Travis Browne.

Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva returned to the rankings, sliding in at No. 10 at 185 pounds. Also, Rafael Natal debuted at middleweight, coming in at No. 13.

Tarec Saffiedine returned for the first time in over a year, besting Jake Ellenberger and moving up a spot to No. 10 at welterweight.

In the flyweight division, Wilson Reis’ win over Dustin Ortiz vaulted him to ninth. Reis passed Ortiz, Ali Bagautinov and Ray Borg.
