UFC on FX 5 added four bouts to the card today, and while all are not main card caliber, they are sure to add excitement to the event. The FX card is headlined by Travis Browne and Antonio Silva. and takes place October 5th at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. All the bouts announced range from heavyweight, welterweight, lightweight, and flyweight.

At flyweight, TUF alum Louis Gaudinot goes for his second win at 125 against Darren Uyenoyama. Uyenoyama picked up his first win in the octagon against Kid Yamamoto. Now, he drops down to flyweight to take on Gaudinot who was beat by Johnny Bedford at the finale, but choked out John Lineker in his 125 debut.

Lightweight has two fighters, most likely fighting for their career in the octagon. Carlo Prater takes on Marcus LeVesseur after both losing their last bouts. Prater was gifted a win over Erick Silva, but was beat by TJ Grant in his debut at lightweight. Marcus entered the UFC with a 21-5 record, but was quickly tapped out by a Cody McKenzie guillotine. With a loss in this bout, either fighter could be looking for a new organization to fight in.

Josh Neer will be looking for redemption in his fight against Justin Edwards. After being dropped by the UFC, Neer went 6-1 and reentered the promotion in the welterweight division. After picking up two straight finishes he was matched with Mike Pyle, and taken down with only seconds remaining in the round. Edwards may be looking to keep his job after going 1-2 in the octagon, but he will have a tough time against Neer.

Finally, former heavyweight up and comer Matt Mitrione will be looking to bounce back from the first loss of his professional career, and it will take place almost a year from his last bout. He will be taking on Rob Broughton who has failed to win in his last two bouts in the cage.
