Following the string of announcements yesterday, today starts off with even more. UFC on Fuel TV 7 takes center stage with fights announced in the welterweight and light heavyweight divisions. UFC on Fuel TV 7 takes place in London, England with Renan Barao defending his interim title against Michael McDonald, and Dennis Siver taking on Cub Swanson in the co-main event. The fight card is set to take place on February 16th.

The first fight announced today was a welterweight battle between Icelandic grappling phenom Gunnar Nelson and Justin Edwards. In his last fight, Edwards pulled off a shocker submitting MMA veteran Josh Neer in the first round, but he might not be that lucky in this bout. Nelson may hail from Iceland, but his black belt comes from Brazil via Renzo Gracie. With nine straight wins, six by way of submission, Nelson made his way to the octagon. Many times fighters are not able to replicate their success in the octagon that they had outside of it, but Nelson passed with flying colors submitting the always tough DeMarques Johnson.

Talk about passing their debut with flying colors, look no further than Ryan Jimmo who was previously critiqued as a very boring fighter. In his debut he took a seven-second knockout over Anthony Perosh. Many fans were excited to see the robot dancing Jimmo return, and they will not have to wait any longer since Jimmo will be taking on James Te-Huna to see who moves farther up the light-heavyweight ladder. Te-Huna is 4-1 in the octagon with three finishes, with his only loss coming to current top contender Alexander Gustafsson.
