It looks as though the third UFC on FOX Sports 1 card has it’s main event, as Glover Teixeira will reportedly battle fellow light-heavyweight contender Ryan Bader in the headliner. In addition, an expected middleweight scrap between Yushin Okami and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza is also reportedly planned for the September 4th card.

The Brazilian publication Portal do Vale Tudo is reporting the match-ups, and MMA Junkie has also confirmed that the bouts are likely for the card. The UFC has not made any official announcement regarding UFC on FS1 3, which is reportedly heading to Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Teixeira (21-2) recently relayed that he was expecting to return to action, and considering he was scheduled to fight Ryan Bader at UFC 160, the bout makes sense. Bader was forced to drop out of the fight due to injury, and Teixeira went on to quickly submit replacement James Te Huna with a first round, guillotine choke. The renowned light-heavyweight has won four straight since arriving in the UFC.

Bader (15-3) is looking to build on the submission victory he recorded over Vladimir Matyushenko in January, after getting KO’d by Lyoto Machida last August. The former TUF winner is 3-2 in his last five fights. While Bader is evolving as a fighter and has the tools to finish any fight quickly, a victory over Teixeira would certainly surprise some people.

Okami (29-7) continues to hang around the top of the UFC middleweight ranks, as the powerful grappler has gone on to record wins over Buddy Roberts, Alan Belcher and Hector Lombard since losing to Anderson Silva and Tim Boetsch.

Souza (18-3) lived up to the hype that followed him into the UFC last month, as the jiu-jitsu star choked out Chris Camozzi with a first round, arm-triangle-choke. The former Strikeforce champ will have to be at his best to get through Okami, who’s a tough fight for pretty much anybody.
