UFC on Fox 7 takes place in San Jose, C.A. on April 20 at the HP Pavilion. The card is headlined by a lightweight superfight between former Strikeforce Lightweight Champion Gilbert Melendez and current UFC champion Benson Henderson, and the co-main event is a heavyweight bout between Frank Mir and Daniel Cormier. The card just added three lightweight match-ups, which include two Strikeforce veterans and the stateside debut for a TUF Smashes winner.

Norman Parke won the TUF Smashes lightweight tournament when he took out Colin Fletcher at UFC on FX 6. In this fight, he will take on Guamanian prospect Jon Tuck, who made his UFC debut against Zhang Tiequan. He beat Tiequan by decision. Parke will want to take this fight to the ground, especially considering 12 of his 17 wins have come by submission.

Former Strikeforce lightweight number-one contender Jorge Masvidal will be making his Octagon debut against the very tough Tim Means. This will most likely be a stand-up battle, since both fighters like to finish fights on the feet. Means has earned 13 of his 18 wins standing, and even took out Bobby Green back in 2010. Hopefully, Means actually makes it to this fight, as a slip in the sauna literally knocked him out of his match at UFC on Fox 5.

The last bout added is between former welterweight Roger Bowling, who makes his UFC and lightweight debut, and Anthony Njokuani. Bowling’s last loss was in a number-one contenders bout with Tarec Saffiedine, and he must have decided that if he wants to get to the title, dropping down to 155 would be his best bet. A loss for Njokuani could mean the end of his UFC career; he has gone 1-2 in his last three bouts.
