The stacked UFC on FOX 5 and growing UFC on FX 6 event has received verified venues and dates, thanks to last nights showing of Fuel TV’s UFC Tonight.

UFC on Fox 5 is headed to Washington on December 8th. Seattle to be exact. It will be held at Seattle’s Key Arena, which has been known to hold around 17,500 people for boxing events. This will be only the second time that the UFC has visited Seattle, with the first time being back in 2011 for Phil Davis versus Lil Nog. The event drew nearly 14,000 people, yet this card is expected to draw even more. The event is headlined by a title fight between Benson Henderson and Nate Diaz. It will also contain a pivotal light heavyweight match-up between Alexander Gustafsson and former 205 champion Shogun Rua. BJ Penn will also return on this card against Canadian standout Rory MacDonald.

A week later UFC on FX 6 the card will take place in the fight capital of the world. The card without a headlining bout is going to take place in Las Vegas Nevada. The card will be held at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The last time an event was held there was all the way back in 2006 for the Ultimate Fighter four finale. Since that time the venue has underwent improvements as of late that now allows for double the maximum capacity at 4,000. While no fights are lined up currently it is possible that Frankie Edgar could headline the card as he makes his debut at 145.
