It’s time once again for another UFC on FOX installment, and tonight’s edition – the 22nd – features so much pretty on the main card that it’s hard not to imagine Paige VanZant, Michelle Waterson, Urijah Faber, Sage Northcutt and Alan Jouban being asked to participate in all sorts on nefarious eugenics programs in their spare time.

But I digress.

A UFC. Tonight. And on the Fight Pass prelims, there’s veterans Eddie Wineland and Takeya Mizugaki.

Both men have been calling the Octagon home since 2011, so it’s to be expected that there’d be a bit of mileage on them. But there’s also savvy, and it comes into play for Wineland the instant Mizugaki starts landing kicks and left hands in the first. Soon, the American’s eye is wearing the damage. He doesn’t sweat it, though, instead opting to pick the best openings for his right hand, and eventually he’s dropping Mizugaki to the canvas. Mizugaki keeps moving, but those punches keep coming, and it isn’t long before the referee jumps in.
