Glover Teixeira was at one time a top contender for the belt. Rashad Evans won TUF in the early days, and went on to hold he championship crown for a short spell. But that was then and this is now, their “now” being what could very likely be the tail end of their careers. So how much does Evans have left and can the Brazilian regain some of that momentum that he once had?

Teixeira wastes no time chasing the former champ down, and the duo begin throwing leather like it’s what they were meant to do. But whereas Evans used to be able to take a punch, that ability has long since left him, and it doesn’t take long for Teixeira to find his range and blast him with one left after another.

Evans drops to all fours and then slumps face-first to the canvas, and that’s all she wrote.
