In case you haven’t noticed, Anthony “Rumble” Johnson can hit. Hard. Like, ridiculously hard.
That’s why he fought Daniel Cormier for the light-heavyweight belt, and that’s why he’ll be in the main event of UFC on FOX 18 in Newark, N.J. next Saturday.
His opponent will be Ryan Bader, who’s been on a tear as of late and is definitely getting close to earning a title shot. Unfortunately, if there’s anything Bader doesn’t like, it’s getting hit in the face, and, well, that’s sort of Rumble’s thing. We’ll see how that goes.
In the meantime, the UFC has released this fight featuring Johnson doing his thing. It dates back to 2009, when Johnson was cutting down to welterweight (!). The opponent: Yushiyuki Yoshida. Things don’t go well for the poor Japanese fighter…
