Next up on the Fight Pass prelims is Hayder Hassan versus Vicente Luque, which they saw is some sort of bout borne of a forgettable season of TUF, but I’ll have to take their word for it.

Hassan has a very vocal contingent cheering him on in the audience. Too bad his likes to fight with his hands down – a flaw that Luque exploits to stalk him around the cage and pick and choose his punches.

One such punch clips Hassan, prompting him to duck his head and seek the tie up, which plays into Luque’s apparent bread-and-butter technique: the Anaconda choke. A scant few seconds later they’re on the ground, with Hassan struggling, struggling, and then going limp. And that’s all she wrote.

Result: Vicente Luque def. Hayder Hassan via Technical Submission (Anaconda choke) at  2:13, Round 1
