This event has been knocked around for some time, but the Zuffa brass has officially announced that they are heading to Nottingham, England. The event is currently referred to as “UFC: Nottingham,” and will air on Fuel TV, which would be the fifth event to air on the network. Capital FM Arena will be the venue to host the event, which will take place on September 29. For fans here in the United States the event will surprisingly not be on tape delayed as we’ve seen in the past with UFC Sweden.

As far as bouts for the event, there has been two set as of now. Andy Ogle was not able to fight on the finale of the last Ultimate Fighter because of medical clearance. He had requested during the filming of TUF live to be on the then rumored Nottingham card, and he has now been granted that request. For his debut he will take on another Ultimate Fighter alum in Akira Corassani who has been out of commission since his time on the reality series due to injuries.

The card will also feature Brad Pickett, as he looks to continue his ascent up the bantamweight ladder. Brad may only be 4-2 since joining Zuffa fight promotions back with WEC, but has won three fight of the night awards in his last  four performances. In this fight he takes on Yves Jabouin who has been flawless since his drop to 135, winning two straight. . The event will slowly gain more matches as we near, and surely there will be more U.K. born fighters added to the card.
