UFC on FOX 4 will take place on August 4th, in Los Angeles, California. It’s set to be headlined by Hector Lombard and Brian Stann, which could end up being for a shot at the middleweight title. A light-heavyweight fight between Ryan Bader and Lyoto Machida as well as a heavyweight match-up between  heavy-handed fighters Travis Brown and Ben Rothwell round out the main card. The under card is starting to fill up also.

In the first announced match-up, former 145 division number one contender Josh Grispi will take on Pablo Garza. Both fighters may be fighting for their career since they happen to be on a two fight losing streak. These fighters could easily match wits on the mat since both each have seven submission wins to their record.

The next announced match-up is between the long-awaited return of Mike Swick and DeMarques Johnson. This will be Swick’s first fight in nearly three years, and his first since back to back losses. Still, at the age of 32 he has some years of fight left in him if he can stay uninjured. First up for him is Johnson, and while not the most consistent fighter, he is a finisher.

The last two fights are more featherweight matches. Starting with Nam Phan vs Cole Miller. Phan will look to change his luck after going 1-3 in his UFC career so far. Given, one of those losses is seen to be a judges error. Cole Miller dropped to 145 after a semi-successful run at lightweight, going 7-3 in the process. His drop did not produce the results he wanted as he lost to Steven Siler, a man who also defeated Millers’ brother, Micah.

The last match-up pits a former number one featherweight contender in Manny Gamburyan against Michihiro Omigawa. Both fighters will be looking to keep their careers intact, as a loss for either could be the end. Manny has been win-less in his return to the octagon since a failed title bid. Omigawa has not done much better in his return going 1-3. Although, fighters on the brink produce the best fights, so we’ll have to wait and see.
