The UFC continues to book bouts for its upcoming, October 26th UFC Fight Night card in Manchester, and today it’s announced that former TUF Smashes winner Norman Parke will face lightweight Jon Tuck at the event. The card will be hosted by the Manchester Arena and will be broadcast in the U.S. on FOX Sports 1.

Parke (18-2) will be looking to move to 3-0 in the UFC, as the Northern Ireland fighter has scored decision wins over Colin Fletcher and most recently Kazuki Tokudome since joining the promotion. The victory over Fletcher took place in the finale for “TUF Smashes” last December. Prior to joining the UFC the 26 year-old fighter had won six straight fights (RM Sports spoke with Parke prior to his bout with Tokudome, and he relayed he believes he’s already a top ten ranked fighter. You can see the video here).

Tuck (7-0), meanwhile, is coming off a successful UFC debut last November, when he defeated Tiequan Zhang by UD. The 29 year-old, TUF 15 vet, who hails from Guam, had won all of his fights prior by KO, TKO or submission.

That’s an interesting match-up at 155, which could produce some entertaining action. It’s also an important fight for both men, as a win for either fighter would make a big statement about their prospects in the lightweight division.

So, to date, 11 fights have been booked for UFC FN 30, which will feature middleweight Michael Bisping taking on Mark Munoz in the headliner. In the co-main-event, Ross Pearson will take on lightweight Melvin Guillard, which also could be spectacular. And if you’re from the U.K., you have to be loving this line-up no? The card is stacked with talent from the nation.
