The UFC continues to build the card for its next event in the United Kingdom on October 26th, as the promotion has announced that Fight Night 30 will feature the first women’s UFC bout to take place in the nation.

The company announced Jessica Andrade will fight Rosi Sexton at the upcoming card, not long after the latter tweeted:

It’s official! First women’s UFC fight in UK – me vs @JessicaMMApro; & first time in my career fighting in my home town! #UFCManchester2013

Sexton (13-3) will be looking to get back on track after she was handed a UD loss by Alexis Davis at UFC 161 in June. The defeat took place in Sexton’s UFC debut. Prior to the loss, the 36 year-old fighter had won three straight and was 8-2 in her last 10 fights (in fact her first loss was against Gina Carano way back in 2006).

Andrade (9-3) is also coming off a loss, as she was stopped by Liz Carmouche at UFC on FOX 8 in July, which was also Andrade’s first tilt in the Octagon. The Brazilian fighter also arrived in the UFC having gone 8-2 in her previous 10 scraps.

So, with today’s addition, UFC FN 30 has 10 bouts scheduled. The headliner will feature Michael Bisping taking on fellow middleweight contender Mark Munoz and in the co-main-event, lightweight Ross Pearson will tussle with Melvin Guillard. The card will be broadcast on FOX Sports 2.
