UFC Fight Night 26 didn’t go according to plan for either Mauricio “Shogun” Rua or Alistair Overeem, but the decorated vets led the way in compensation for the August 17th card as one  might expect.

According to the payroll figures the Massachusetts State Athletic Commission has released, Overeem collected a check for $285,714.29, after getting KO’d by Travis Browne in the opening round. “Hapa”, on the other hand, earned $48 grand, which included a $24,000 bonus for winning the memorable bout.

Rua was reportedly paid $175,000 for his first round, submission loss to Chael Sonnen, who in turn made $100K for the win. “The American Gangsta’s” payout did not include a win bonus.

The card’s third highest earner was former WEC featherweight champ Urijah Faber, who was awarded $120,000 for his unanimous decision win over Yuri Alcantara. The Brazilian bantamweight was paid $16,000 in show money.

So here is the complete payroll for UFC FN 26, which went down at Boston’s TD Garden Arena and also marked the promotion’s FOX Sports 1 debut (figures via MMA Weekly.com).
