The pre-fight promo describes him as a “170-pound action hero”, which I guess is a one way to describe Alan Jouban. I’d rather describe him as the male model who likes to fight in the UFC, though. Either way, Jouban is in the cage for the UFC Fight Night 85 prelims’ “main event” opposite Brendan O’Reilly, so you can come to your own conclusions in what to call him.

The fight begins with Jouban wading in with punches and tying up, pressing O’Reilly against the cage. But O’Reilly nails the sweetest sweep, which puts Jouban down instantly. O’Reilly quickly tries to take his back, and when he’s unsuccessful, the two engage in a shootout. The punches are fast, furious and frequent, and Jouban lands one that wobbles his foe. A follow-up elbow to the dome sends O’Reilly to the canvas, and soon the referee is jumping in.

Result: Alan Jouban def. Brendan O’Reilly via TKO (Punches) at 2:15, R1
