One of the benefits of having a superstar fighting on your roster is that if there’s a lesser-known fighter who beat that superstar in the past, BOOM! Instant storyline! Such is the case with  Joe Duffy, an Irishman credited with having defeated Conor McGregor at a Cage Wars show back in 2010. Duffy will be headlining the upcoming UFC Fight Night 76 on October 24, standing opposite Dustin Poirier.

Poirier is a tough, veteran fighter, so of course it helps that Duffy is a badass in his own right. Obviously, he’s got a handle on the submission game, but it seems he’s pretty adapt on the feet as well.

Thus far Duffy has won both times he’s stepped into the Octagon. Below is a video of his handiwork. Watch and enjoy!
