We are now at the point where dudes with only moderate talent get to headline UFC events based on their proximity to Conor McGregor.

That’s right, I’m talking about Artem Lobov, who’s amassed a 2-2 record in the Octagon via unorthodox striking and sheer toughness, and – if not for his status as McGregor teammate – would be nowhere near a main event. But hey, UFC Fight Night 108 needs something to drive the bus and Cub Swanson needs an opponent, so here we are.

Don’t get me wrong, Lobov has skill. Just watch the video below and you’ll get an idea of what he can do. But is he ready for the big time?
