TUF vet Vicente Luque has been carving out a damn good niche for himself since his season of the show, winning two fights by submission and two by KO. Local boy Leon Edwards hasn’t had that same streak, but he’s amassed some wins. This one should be competitive.

Round 1 opens with both men throwing hard and landing hard, with Edwards clocking Luque with a left hand and Luque scoring with a trip. They’re on the ground for a short spell, but when they rise they only wind up down again, with Luque working side-control and north/south until the horn sounds.

The second round has Edwards getting the fight to the canvas and easing into top position, and this time Luque is in the hot seat. Edwards is constantly dropping ground and pound, although the ref inexplicably stands them up late.

The final round is all about these guys duking it out, and when Edwards turns up the heat, the storm of knuckles forces Luque to cover up – and therefore lose on the scorecards.
