It’s a wondrous thing to behold when a fighter gradually transforms from “dude with potential” to “geez, what a badass!” And that’s what we’ve seen with Robert Whittaker, who won a season of international TUF, ran into some stumbling blocks in the Octagon, and then amassed a very respectable collection of wins (Jacare is his latest pelt).

At UFC 213, Whittaker and Yoel Romero have the co-main event slot, and it’s a safe bet the winner will get a crack at Michael Bisping’s belt somewhere down the line.

Does Whittaker have what it takes to stop the intelligible Romero? He sure does. And if you need some reminding, here’s some of Whittaker’s handiwork.

Folks, we have entered the Robert Whittaker Era. Enjoy it.
