She may slow down a bit if you drag her into Rounds 4 and 5, but until then, Amanda Nunes hits like a Mack Truck. Which was enough to secure her a shot at the 135-pound belt against Miesha Tate, enough to earn her the belt, and enough to smash Ronda Rousey like a momma lion battering a young insolent cub.
At UFC 213, Nunes will defend her belt against someone tough enough to withstand those fists of fury, and more than capable of dragging her into the deep waters of the later rounds. We know this because her opponent is Valentina Shevchenko, and we saw all that happen when they previously fought.
I have no clue who will win the rematch. Do you?
While you’re thinking about it, here’s Nunes destroying Tate.
