The Fight Pass prelims for UFC 202 are rounded out by Lorenz Larkin and Neil Magny – two guys who could conceivably headline shows (and have) but get to leave work early tonight. You know Larkin as the high-flying, unorthodox striker and Magny as the badass grappler, so I really don’t need to dig much deeper.
Larkin blasts Magny in the body with a kick that’s impossible to track (and therefore dodge), and he lands another that puts Magny on is butt. The jiu-jitsu guy gets back up and tries to tie up against the fence, and the stationary target allows Larkin to chew him up with elbows and leg-kicks – someone is getting their ass beaten. By the three-minute mark, Magny can barely stand on his leg from all the punishment. The desperation shots inevitably come, with Magny trying to get the fight to the ground lest he die, but Larkin sprawl and simply elbows him into unconsciousness. What a performance.
Result: Lorenz Larkin def. Neil Magny via TKO (Elbows) at 4:08, R1
