It’s likely we’ve seen Urijah Faber’s ceiling a long time ago, back when he couldn’t come close to defeating Jose Aldo and was resigned to being “The California Kid Who Will Never Be Champ”.

But even if that’s the case, he’s still an elite fighter, one capable of wrecking lesser dudes while still putting up a decent fight against those residing in the absolute top tier. At UFC 199, Faber will get a chance to do the latter, as he faces Dominick Cruz for a third time. Unless Cruz’s knee explodes on the walk to the cage (which is possible), Faber is going to lose… so below is an example of Faber taking out a lesser fighter.
