An important 155-pound match has been added to the UFC 197 card, as former titleholder Anthony Pettis meets Edson Barboza.

Set to go down this April 23 from Las Vegas, Daniel Cormier vs. Jon Jones for the light heavyweight title headlines. The event also includes UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson defending his strap vs. former U.S. Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo.

After dropping the belt to Rafael dos Anjos last year, Pettis (18-4) returned to meet former Bellator champion Eddie Alvarez. He suffered a second straight defeat, dropping his Octagon mark to 5-3 overall.

Barboza (16-4) is 3-2 over his last five and 10-4 with the UFC in all, but was submitted by Tony Ferguson in December. This will mark his first pay-per-view fight – if the bout ends up on the main card – since a 2013 second round TKO via leg kicks over Rafaello Oliveira.

Officials also added Danny Roberts vs. Dominique Steele to the April card, while UFC on FOX 19 picked up Cezar Ferreira vs. Caio Magalahes and Drew Dober vs. Islam Makhachev.
