Can you feel it? Can you feel that energy in the air, the impending sense of great violence about to occur? That’s UFC 196, lurking just around the corner, waiting to grace the pay-per-view airwaves on Saturday and fill our lives with high-level cagefighting.

Much fanfare surrounds the main event. Featherweight champ Conor McGregor, who was supposed to challenge lightweight champ Rafael dos Anjos before Dos Anjos fell injured, will be taking on Nate Diaz instead at welterweight. Meanwhile, the co-main event has Ronda Rousey-nemesis Holly Holm defending her belt against Miesha Tate.

I don’t know about you, but I think those fights are compelling as hell.

Here’s the first inevitable episode of “Embedded”, which captures some McGregor, Holm and Tate moments during this week leading up to Saturday night.
