UFC 180 weigh-ins were completed today in Mexico City, Mexico — with all combatants, including the main event between Brazil’s Fabricio Werdum and Australia’s Mark Hunt to crown an interim heavyweight champion, weighing in successfully.

The particulars in the main event were also briefly interviewed by UFC commentator Joe Rogan.

Fabricio Werdum expressed his excitement to fight in Mexico, shouting “Viva Mexico” (“long live Mexico”) to the crowd’s delight. Werdum, a fluent Spanish speaker who spent much of his youth in Spain, then led the crowd in singing the Mexican ballad, “Cielito Lindo” (Beautiful Sky).

“I think it’s a great opportunity,” an excited Hunt exclaimed, when asked about his decision to replace Cain Velasquez in the event. “Thank you to the man upstairs for getting me here!”
