If you didn’t catch UFC 165’s headliner between Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson, then your life will be incomplete until you do so. The fight saw Jones take far more punishment than he has in any of his UFC bouts to date, but the light-heavyweight champ battled back to record the unanimous decision win.

Since it was one of the greatest title fights in recent memory, no one should be shocked to hear that the scrap was awarded “Fight of the Night” honors. As a result, Jones and Gustafsson earned an extra $50,000 each for their performances.

“Knockout of the Night” went to interim bantamweight champ Renan Barao, who caught Eddie Wineland with a spinning kick and brought about the stoppage with follow up punches. Wineland relayed after the card, however, that he disagreed with the stoppage and thought it was premature.

“Submission of the Night”, and an extra 50K, went to Mitch Gagnon, who handed bantamweight Dustin Kimura his first pro defeat by choking him unconscious with a first round, guillotine choke.

UFC 165, which featured a ton of memorable moments, was hosted by Toronto’s Air Canada Centre.
