This battle of Brazilian middleweights was brief — and explosive.

It took only 47 seconds for Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira to overwhelm Thiago Santos and continue his undefeated UFC campaign.

One big overhand left from the TUF Brazil 1 champion staggered UFC newcomer Santos, and he quickly followed up with a guillotine choke and force the round one tapout.

Ferreira, who credited his new training with his father figure Vitor Belfort’s Blackzillian camp for the victory, improves his official MMA record to 6-2. Santos falls to 8-1.
