A welterweight tilt between James Head and Nick Catone has been scratched from tonight’s UFC 159 card, due to the latter being hospitalized as a result of dehydration.

The promotion has made the announcement not long after Catone failed to make weight at yesterday’s weigh-ins, as the 31 year-old welterweight came in at 173 pounds. The Catone-Head bout was originally scheduled to be part of the preliminary card that will be streamed on Facebook.

Catone (9-4) was looking to rebound from back-to-back losses to Chris Camozzi and TJ Waldburger, after scoring wins over Jesse Forbes and Costas Philippou.

Head (9-3), meanwhile, will have to wait to get back on track from the stoppage loss he suffered versus Mike Pyle in December. The loss followed wins over Brian Ebersole and Papy Abedi.
