Following the successful premiere of “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil,” featuring coaches Vitor Belfort versus Wanderlei Silva, the UFC moves forward with its second season, geared to shoot early 2013. According to Brazil sources SporTV, the coaches have verbally agreed and now await a contract agreement and formal announcement. Those coaches being Fabricio Werdum (16-5-1) versus Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (34-7-1).

“TUF: Brazil 2,” is expected to spotlight Brazilian welterweights as the event targets a March air date. The two coaches involved are said to be facing off at the finale (as usual) in a rematch stemming from back to Pride FC in 2006 where Nogueira defeated Werdum via decision in the opening rounds of the open-weight grand prix.

Neither man is a stranger to the TUF format, as “Big Nog” had coached TUF 8 opposite of Frank Mir, while Werdum was seen as an assistant coach to Wanderlei Silva on TUF Brazil 1.

Originally it was rumored that Lyoto Machida would coach opposite of Mauricio “Shogun” Rua as they prepared for a rematch, but it seems the UFC has decided against the originally proposed coaching line-up.
