Sherdog reported earlier today that five bouts have officially been confirmed for “The Ultimate Fighter 11” finale show.
The latest bout to be added to the event card is a preliminary bout between Brazilian fighter Charles Oliveira who currently holds a 12-0 record, and according to Sherdog has eleven finishes in all his fights. Oliveira will make his UFC debut against fellow lightweight Darren Elkins. Elkins made his debut at “Vera vs. Jones” on UFC’s first Versus event, where he took home a TKO win over Duane Ludwig.
A heavyweight bout between James McSweeney and Travis Browne has also been confirmed for the prelims. McSweeney currently holds 41-7-1 record and was last seen at the TUF Heavyweights Finale, where he had a TKO win over Darrill Schoonover. Travis Browne currently holds a 9-0 record and won his last bout over Aaron Brink via KO at a Vision Quest event earlier this year.
The main card will feature bouts between Spencer Fisher and Dennis Siver, as well as Chris Leben against Aaron Simpson and Matt Hamill against Keith Jardine, have been confirmed for the event as well.
A bout between John Gunderson against Mark Holst has been rumored for the card as well.
