It’s South Korean versus Brazil in this one, with Doo Ho Choi taking on the veteran Thiago Tavares.

Tavares has thrown some leather in his day, but Choi is taller and rangier and, therefore, pretty damn dangerous when it comes to striking, so the Brazilian wastes no time taking the South Korean down. He can’t do anything with it though, and after a minute and a half Choi works back to his feet. Another takedown and another scramble back to his feet and Choi is cool as a cucumber. And then he spins Tavares around to the fence, uncorks a one-two, and boom! Tavares drops. Another right hand and that’s all the referee needs to jump in.

Choi is a star in the making for sure.
