It was reported earlier today that light heavyweight Thiago Silva is looking to make a comeback after his January loss to Rashad Evans, when he returns to the cage for a bout against Tim Boetsch in August at UFC 117.

According to Sherdog, both fighters have verbally agreed to the matchup.

Before his loss to Evans, Silva had won 5 out of his first 6 fights losing only to the current light heavyweight title holder Lyoto Machida.

Boetsch on the other hand, was let go from the UFC last year after losing to both Matt Hamill and Jason Brilz, but hopes to make a successful comeback at this fight.

UFC 117 will be headlined by Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen and will be held in Oakland, CA on August 7th.
