It’s a sad state of affairs when you have a TUF winner debuting in the Octagon outside of their TUF run and no one gives a crap. But that’s the case with today’s UFC Fight Night 63 installment.
Julianna Pena, the winner of TUF 18 and the first female TUF winner, is nestled somewhere in main card and she’s gotten zero fanfare thrown her way. Of course, it doesn’t help that a knee injury kept her on the sidelines for all of 2014, and that though her season of the played-out reality show was groundbreaking in that it featured some females, we has a much better all-female season since then.
But hey. TUF winner. Fighting today. On some level, you have to respect that.
