Now, that the UFC has added a female weight division they will need to start creating contenders. The winner of the Ronda Rousey and Liz Carmouche bout has their next challenger in the form of Cristine “Cyborg” Jusino, but who will they face after that? Besides those three fighters, the only other women supposedly under contract are Sara McMann and Miesha Tate. We will be looking at the top ten female bantamweight fighters that need to be picked up by the UFC to give this new weight division a little bit of depth.

#10 Jessica Eye (9-1-0)

Jessica Eye currently competes at 125 in Bellator, but a lot of fighters have had to jump up in weight to compete in the UFC before. Look at Ivan Menjivar who competed against GSP, but now competes at 135. That is what the women will have to do until their natural weight class is added. Plus, what better way of proving yourself than beating fighters heavier than you? Eye just captured the biggest win of her career by using a standing arm triangle to finish Zoila Gurgel, and she could ride that momentum right into the octagon.
