Shane Carwin is bringing some of his all-star training partners to the set of The Ultimate Fighter 16 to help train his team. With an extension of Greg Jackson’s camp down in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Grudge training center in Denver, Colorado has many great fighters of its own. Headed by Trevor Whitman, the gym houses such fighters as Duane Ludwig, Eliot Marshall, and Nate Marquardt and some of them will be making their way to the set in Vegas to help Carwin with the coaching and cornering of his team.

Two of the biggest names to help in assisting are Nate Marquardt and Pat Barry. Marquardt recently just picked up the Strikeforce welterweight title in a great battle against Tyron Woodley. This was his return to the cage and the Zuffa banner after being dropped because of a testosterone fiasco.

Pat Barry is also coming in to help teach the fighters a thing or two about standup. Berry is vaunted kick boxer who has helped and trained many fighters such as Anthony Pettis, Brock Lesnar, and Mirko Cro Cop. Plus, after getting beaten up in his last couple of fights, some time off might be good for Barry. He will help coach along with the aforementioned Whitman, Grudge training center wrestling coach Liester Bowling, and  Loren Landlow, a former football player who will help with sport performance and physical therapy.
