In the grand tradition of TUF winners who can’t help but go out on the town and wind up in jail (I’m looking at you, Julianna Pena), Diego Brandao is in some hot legal water.

Take it away, MMAJunkie!

The 28-year-old Brazilian and Jackson-Wink MMA fighter has been charged with aggravated battery and three counts of aggravated assault following Thursday’s incident, in which Brandao is accused of pointing a gun at a patron and an employee before striking the employee in the face with the weapon. Prior to that, he allegedly argued with a DJ and attempted to punch employees before being denied reentry to the club.

According to online records, Brandao, who was arrested on Friday, left the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center on Saturday night after posting $15,000 bail.

Based on his transgressions, it’s hard to imagine a scenario where Brandao somehow gets off without some jail time – the dude left to go get the gun, and returned and pistol-whipped someone with it. That is very much not self-defense.

Oh well. We pretty much got the best performances we could out of him. It was all downhill now anyway.
