According to a report from the Wrestling Observer, UFC female bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will be appearing at August’s WWE “SummerSlam” pay-per-view event.
The card takes place August 17 from Los Angeles and the Staples Center, which is just around the corner from Rousey and her home.
Rousey, who is the leader of the MMA group, “The Four Horsewoman,” has shown her passion for pro wrestling on a number of occasions. She’s posted numerous videos with the group, which includes Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir, doing wrestling moves.
As for her MMA career, Rousey is scheduled to fight in July at UFC 175 against Alexis Davis in a title defense. Previously, the UFC has allowed Rousey to film roles in several movies, including “The Expendables 3,” and UFC president Dana White has stated he’s all for added exposure if she clears it with him first.
