It seems once again the fight between current UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva (25-4 MMA, 10-0 UFC), and Vitor Belfort (19-8 MMA, 8-4 UFC) is going to be delayed. Belfort didn’t really have a choice in the matter as he suffers a shoulder injury while training for the fight.
According to Brazilian based website Tatame, Belfort will not be able to recover in time for the UFC 112 event. No official word on a replacement fighter for Belfort just yet, or if Silva will even still headline the Abu Dhabi event.
As new information develops we will update here accordingly so check back often.
