The UFC 112 Abu Dhabi card is looking more and more like a dream card with each passing day, currently in the works for a bout is Kendall Grove facing off against “The Filipino Wrecking Machine” Mark Munoz (7-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC). Munoz is coming off his impressive victory over Ryan Jensen via a TKO in the 1st round due to strikes.
However, Munoz first needs to be cleared by an orthopedic doctor for injuries suffered during his UFC 108 bout with Jensen, earlier this month before getting the green-light to begin training for a potential bout with Grove.
Munoz, a former NCAA Division 1 wrestling champion, recently received a purple belt in jiu-jitsu from Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. This fight if it goes down will be a very interesting math up, Grove with his length will prove to be a tough challenge for Munoz on the stand up but Grove will have some big trouble on his hands if he cant keep the distance to nullify Marks wrestling.
