Just days after Rampage Jackson tweeted his disappointment about not being on the UFC in Japan card, ESPN.com verified with the UFC that Jackson will in fact fight at UFC 144 in Saitama, Japan against Div. I collegiate wrestler, Ryan Bader. Originally Bonnar and Jackson looked to be on a collision course, verbally agreeing to the match-up but it seems that match up was not in the UFC’s plans.
Former champion Jackson will look to rebound into the win column after a tough loss to current light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones at UFC 135 via RNC choke in Sept.
Bader however will look to line-up two victories in a row. The fast hands of Bader were able to KO Jason Brilz at UFC 139 in Nov.
