After months upon months of discontent shared by Quinton “Rampage” Jackson of his Zuffa employers, he’s now singing a very different tune.
I know I'll never accomplish anything I can't first see in my mind. I see me as champ again. I'm training for it! You heard it here first
— Quinton Jackson (@Rampage4real) October 20, 2012
The former champ will likely be up against Glover Teixeira next as all parties involved, including the UFC have agreed to the match-up. Jackson will then be a free agent after the bout, but as his tweet suggests – he isn’t going anywhere.
Rampage has been heard recently saying during an interview on the MMA Hour that he is a new fighter again. Don’t believe him? Jackson doesn’t blame you as he claims that he will prove it in the octagon soon enough. After losing a title shot to Jon Jones in Sept. 2011, followed by a grappling match loss to Ryan Bader in front of his Japan crowd, Rampage will need to regain steam to fulfill his vision.
